Program Schedule for 2018

Meeting Place: Shepherdsville Government Center, 634 Conestoga Parkway, Shepherdsville, KY. Our meetings are generally held on the third Saturday of each month, beginning at 11:00 a.m. They are usually concluded by 1:00 p.m.

March 17th - Betty Darnell speaking on Select/Non-Select Revolutionary War Pensions.

April 21st - Susan Dyer - Saving Judge Holt Home.

May 19th - Yard Sale

June 16th - Ron Elliott Speaking on "Assassination at the State House."

July 21st - Field Trip to Belmont Furnace.

August 18th - Joint meeting with the D.A.R. - Joe Hardesty speaking on "Advanced Online Genealogical Research."

September 15th - Kenny Bailey- speaking on his Trip to the Appalachian Trail.

October 20th - LGS Seminar & Book Fair

November 17th - Dale Salmon - "Ancient History of Mt. Washington."

December 8th - Christmas Social

The Bullitt County History Museum, a service of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is located in the county courthouse at 300 South Buckman Street (Highway 61) in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The museum, along with its research room, is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. Admission is free. The museum, as part of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization and is classified as a 509(a)2 public charity.
