In 1813 Andrew Graham sold part of Shepherdsville lot #25 to John Graham. The deed was written before the new plan of the town of Shepherdsville was official, and the deed refers to the lot by its old number, 20.

This indenture made this twelfth day of January in the year of our Lord 1813 between Andrew Graham and Nancy his wife of the one part and John Graham of the other part, all of the town of Shepherdsville, County of Bullitt and Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Witnesseth that the said Andrew Graham and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to them in hand paid before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto the said John Graham, his heirs and assigns forever, a certain lot of ground lying and being in the town of Shepherdsville known in the plan of said town by the number of twenty, the same lot being contained in forty feet in front and ninety-nine feet and five inches back, and being the most northwardly part of said lot number twenty, and including a house and well with all and singular the appurtenances and hereditaments thereunto belonging.
To have and to hold the aforesaid described part of lot number 20 with all and singular the appurtenances &c unto the said John Graham, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever to their only proper use, benefit and behoof. And the said Andrew Graham and Nancy his wife for themselves and their heirs, executors, &c do further covenant and agree to and with the said John Graham, his heirs &c that they will forever warrant and defend the aforesaid part or parcel of lot number 20 with all and singular the appurtenances and hereditaments thereunto belonging unto the said John Graham, his heirs &c against them the said Andrew Graham and Nancy his wife, their heirs &c and against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever.
