On 15 Apr 1844, the heirs of Jacob Bowman dec'd sold their part of Shepherdsville lot No. 41 to George W. Bowman as shown below.

This indenture made this 15th day of April 1844 between Joseph Bowman, Thomas J. Bowman and Mary his wife, Wilson Bowman, Mary E. Bowman his wife, Jacob W. Bowman and Mary Jane Bowman his wife of one part and George W. Bowman of the other part.
Witnesseth that whereas the heirs of Jacob Bowman dec'd, the parties of the first and second this day sold their store house and lot of ground on Main Street in the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky for the sum of $465.00 and one of said heirs viz said George W. Bowman became the purchaser, wherefore in consideration of said sale and purchase and the securement of the payment of the purchase money as aforesaid of $465 within nine months from this date they the said parties have confirmed said sale and by these presents do sell and convey unto him the said George W. Bowman and to his heirs forever the said store house lot and appurtenances situate on Main Street in the said town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County and state of Kentucky, being part of lot number 41 in the new plan of said town, fronting on Main Street 55 feet and extending back eastwardly 72 feet 8 inches being the same part of said lot No. 41 conveyed to the ancestor of said parties hereto Jacob Bowman dec'd by Thixton and Hornbeck and M. & S. Wilson by deed dated the 10th July 1839 and recorded in Deed Book I, page 192, Bullitt County Court office will show, with the appurtenances to the same belonging.
To have and to hold the lot and appurtenances here sold unto him the said George W. Bowman, and to his heirs and assigns forever, and the said parties of the first part covenant and agree to and with the said George W. Bowman that they the said parties of the first part will and their heirs shall warrant and forever defend the said lot and appurtenances here sold unto him the said George W. Bowman and his heirs forever against the claims of all person whatsoever by this their deed in fee simple with general warranty. Witness the hands and seals of the grantors the date first herein written. (signed by grantors)
